[ It's a few minutes before he answers. He'd just finished cleaning up after completing a tattoo. His eyebrows raise as he snorts. ]

I would hope I'd know if it was ours. ;) When is this wedding?

I promise that you'll be warned of ours. Just in case.

It's at the end of the month. It's out of state. I can arrange for our transportation and I've already made a reservation in the hotel block on site.

[ Block? Why would a wedding have a hotel block? ]

Send me the dates so I can make sure to reschedule any clients and give Austin a heads-up. Will I need some kind of fancy suit?

[ He reads and rereads this part about a hotel block and shakes his head. ]

You might want to dress fancy but the grooms would tell you to wear what you want and what makes you happy.

I'm glad you're going. It's probably going to be a mad house but I'm glad Avi found someone. Asa hooked up permanently with some reporter and I always wondered how Avi was handling it but you can't really ask that, you know?

Yeah, that would be hard to ask about - especially considering how close twins and especially those twins are supposed to be. But it sounds like they've both found someone that suits them.

Apparently! I haven't met half the spouses. August's works at the university and I was there last year.

You may have met her at the wedding and you didn't know it. No one did.

Ah, no, I was not told but that is excellent to know. Wow, this family is very connected, isn't it?

I learned more than I ever expected.

It can still be a lot though from time to time, I get it. I've gotten used to it over the years due to circumstances but there is still time that I'm quieter than the rest of them.

Hadn't decided on one yet, but now looking at computer science and programming.

Yeah, that happens. For people keeping a lot of secrets, they are open about things most aren't.

I was an only child and raised kind of keeping myself separate because my parents were, well, horrible.

Of course. I mean, they're good guys but they come by their partners naturally in a lot of cases.

You have a terrific mentor then close by. I have a couple of friends who recently went through similar programs if you want to be connected. They're great guys.

I can absolutely see that, in just the short amount of time I've known everyone. It's refreshing.

I am so sorry to hear that, Arlo. No one deserves shitty parents and yet, it almost seems like the world is full of them.

Just the stop over in New York. Not long enough to do anything, and then straight into Las Vegas.

Rafe says his work arranged my flight and all and that it was remarkable how easy a flight I have. And in first class!
If this is his new job, I'm good with this. Even if he is a spy.

I understand that. I have a few friends back home - well, four of them, that I think are going in that direction all together but none of them have so far admitted it to themselves yet.

Yeah, they're not married but he knows how it is to want to spend all of his time with his partner. He's feeling it even more so right now with the six of them in both similar and different ways.

Well, yes but unlike them [as far as he knows], the four have been dragging their feet admitting there's feelings between the four of them. Namely my friend Don has been dragging his feet.

You learned a lot about us that day tattooing us so there's no such thing as too much now!

IDK, I remember something about a tattoo that you're planning to tattoo on him that will mark him as yours?? ;)

Was he picking up on what his brother had been thinking when reading over his shoulder? Also yes. Probably.
